Design of heat exchanger for producing nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) nanoparticles using coprecipitation method

This study examines the design of a heat exchanger (HE) in production process nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) nanoparticles using coprecipitation method by determining shell and tube exchanger. The Microsoft Excel application is used as manual calculating machine to facilitate analysis data calculations. research flowchart starts with literature study, preparation tools materials for design, calculation main components, then fabrication. Based on results, specification has diameter 0.032 m, length 4.267 mm, thickness 0.002 m an initial transfer rate (Q) 460130 W resulting efficiency 95.706% NTU 6.165. high effectiveness value makes one type turbulent flow considered have met standards good performance. complete if device functions properly. can be reference researchers designing exchangers during make them more effective, reliable, economical.
